Plastics...bags or boxes??

Updated: Jan 29, 2020

Tackle organization is a must and if you're like me, you're always looking for ways to be more efficient. With that, I wanted to share something that's worked really well for me for the past year. I have no affiliation with Plano, but I'm using one their boxes in a different way than they intended it. Being a tournament angler, I want to be able to get everything I need quickly so I use tackle boxes instead of sorting through plastic bags and I fill those boxes with plastics I need for that specific lake/tournament.

Most boxes didn't have enough slots for me so I went down the isle and looked at every single box and I kept coming back to the Plano Elite Medium and Large Crankbait Organizer boxes. Finally after about 20 minutes of deliberating, I pulled the trigger and bought one Medium and one Large.

The Medium Box is perfect for 7 inch or smaller plastics and has 11 slots.

The Large Box is perfect for 6 inch or smaller plastics and has 10 slots.

Both boxes will hold more plastics than any of the boxes I've personally seen and it's working really well for me. The plastics have stayed straight and the boxes have help up. I can quickly open it up and have a variety of colors to chose from.

Here's how I have mine set up:

Both the Medium and Large boxes are available at Tackle Supply Depot, here's the links and the pricing: Large Box is $18.99 and the Medium Box is $16.99

Give them a try and let me know how they work for you.
